Running costs on solar + Amber/Octopus overnight tariff are about $2.40 per 100km vs $16/100km in our old diesel MPV. Paid for its first year of rego in fuel savings within 10 weeks.

Completely agree on the practical usability. Being able to run a 2,000W induction stove and espresso maker off the V2L socket while only dropping 3% SOC over an afternoon is a game changer.
-
Good catch on those specifications. I checked the service manual torque specs and fuse layout over the weekend and everything matches what you outlined here.

Interesting point about the charging curve. I found that plugging in around 15–18% SOC gives the fastest sustained peak kW before the BMS gently tapers above 80%.

@Sarah_Sealion6 Ran our 65L Engel fridge and induction camp stove off the V2L socket for a 3-night trip last weekend—used less than 7% SOC total with Camp Mode enabled in the Energy Manager!

@OwenB_MEL Pro tip for V2L camping: pick up a heavy-duty IP65 weatherproof short extension lead so you can keep the tailgate/charge flap weather-sealed overnight if it rains.
