Where are you guys mounting the remote head dial for the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite v3 on the Shark 6 dash so it doesn't interfere with the driver's knee airbag?

Mount the main inertia module high up on the metal dash brace behind the lower steering column trim (zip-tied + bolted to the M6 factory stud so there's zero vibration), and drill the remote head dial into the lower-right switch panel next to the bonnet release / headlamp leveller! Completely clear of the knee airbag deployment zone.

Lightforce / Redarc now sell the exact OEM-style snap-in switch blank insert (TPSI-009) that clicks straight into the Shark 6 spare switch slot without drilling the factory dash trim!

Can confirm the pre-wired trailer brake connector is already taped to the main loom above the brake pedal bracket on Australian-delivered Shark 6 utes. Plug and play with the Redarc harness.

Took my auto sparky 35 minutes using that factory pre-wired plug under the dash. Charged me $140 labour in Melbourne.

One tip: calibrate the Tow-Pro Elite by doing 3–4 smooth stops from 40 km/h on a quiet street with the trailer hooked up before hitting the motorway — the active calibration locks in the mounting angle within 2 minutes.
