Took our BYD Seal Excellence AWD up the North Coast 500 in Scotland for a 4-day, 3-night road trip and slept at two off-grid lochside campsites using 3.3 kW V2L power.

On-Road Impressions, Efficiency & Setup Details

• Ran a 1,500W induction hob, electric kettle, heated throw blankets, and charged our camera drone batteries.
• Across 3 nights of V2L usage, we used just 14% total battery SOC (~11.5 kWh).
• Even on single-track Highland roads with 1,200m of elevation gain, regenerative braking recovered tons of energy on the descents!
