DiLink OS OTA Update Changelog, 3-Finger HVAC Gesture & Wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto TipsCompiled a list of the most useful DiLink OS hidden shortcuts and OTA improvements after First 5,000 km of daily use:

Must-Know DiLink Shortcuts:
- Three-Finger Swipe on Any Screen: Swipe up/down with three fingers anywhere on the centre screen (even inside full-screen Apple CarPlay or Android Auto!) to adjust cabin temperature, and swipe left/right with three fingers to adjust fan speed.
- Press & Hold Volume Roller on Centre Console: Holds for 3 seconds to force-reboot the DiLink infotainment head unit without turning off the car.
- Customising the Top Quick-Swipe Bar: Drag Lane Support (ELKA), Regen Mode, and Auto-Hold into the top-left tiles for 1-tap access.

LFP Blade Battery 100% Weekly Balancing vs 20–80% Daily Charging: OBD2 SOH DataThere is always plenty of debate about how to charge BYD LFP Blade Batteries, so I logged cell voltages and SOH via an OBD2 BLE dongle + Car Scanner over 12,000 km Owner Telemetry.
Why LFP Chemistry Needs Periodic 100% Top-Balancing:
- Unlike NMC cells, LiFePO4 (LFP) has a very flat voltage curve (~3.25V to 3.33V per cell) between 15% and 90% SOC.
- The BMS only gets a precise top-reference calibration when individual cells hit the 3.60V–3.65V knee at 100% SOC.
- Charging to 100% once a week (and letting the AC wallbox finish cell balancing for 20 minutes after reaching 100%) keeps cell delta under 8 mV and preserves 98%+ SOH long term.
