So the update for 2.3.0 just arrived on my seal today and after updating, the seal jumped up in points for me. I have a 2025 seal excellence model and it’s been about roughly 6 months of me driving it and at first, it was great but there was a few bits and bobs that annoyed me like the child detection system, ADAS sometimes very finicky and ICC being not as good as Xpeng.

I am quite tech-savvy, so I was quite disappointed that BYD software wasn’t as good as Xpeng’s, but since 2.3.0 came it has definitely improved a lot of the problems. Turning off safety alerts is easier with a simple button touch and being able to turn off CPD is just chef’s kiss. Also I have noticed that ICC is much better with it being able to turn on corners correctly without crossing onto the other lane or being too close to the curb. So overall, I think BYD did a really good job with this OTA and hope that next one will improve the car further.

      what version build?
      eg 13.1.33.??????

the v2.x.x means nothing across regions. only the version build matters.
