I was tired of not being able to utilize the home screen for anything useful, so I created a solution that will add widgets on top.

That can be done by OverDrive. I have an automation that turns off the SLW and CPD at every trip start.

Quite different. On the Seal the dashboard vents are electric, so you have to dig some levels into the AC menu just to adjust the direction of the vents. It's horrible.
That said, I love the car, but the climate controls are bad.

Fair enough, I’ve only tried in the Sealion 7, I’m not sure how different it is to the Seal.

Yeah, right. Have you tried it during those conditions? The AC in the BYD Seal isn't the best, especially not in auto mode. I also have an Audi E Tron, and the AC in auto mode on the Audi is just in another league.
