2026 BYD Seal AWD alarm going off randomly after locking

I've had my new 2026 BYD Seal AWD Excellence for a few weeks now, but I'm running into an annoying issue with the alarm system. About 8 times out of 10 after I lock the car, the alarm starts going off randomly.
Unlocking and relocking the car turns it off, but it's getting very frustrating to deal with every time I park. Has anyone else experienced this or found a permanent solution?

This is actually a known issue on quite a few new Seals! There is an official software patch available at the dealership that fixes the interior sensor sensitivity.

Mine is booked into the dealer on Wednesday for the exact same thing. They told me the software update takes less than an hour to flash.
