Just spent 5 days on K'gari (Fraser Island) and Inskip Point testing our BYD Shark 6 in deep soft beach sand!
Sand Driving Tips for Shark 6 Owners:
- Drop all four tyres to 16–18 PSI cold before hitting Inskip Point.
- Select Sand Mode on the terrain dial AND set HEV + Forced 60% SOC Hold in the Energy Manager.
- The instant dual-motor electric torque floats over soft dry sand cuttings around Indian Head without ever bogging down or waiting for a turbocharger to spool!
