Picked Up Our BYD Atto 2 (Yuan Up) Urban Crossover in Birmingham: First Week Commute & Parking Review
-
Collected our BYD Atto 2 Boost in Hiking Green this week as our second EV alongside our Sealion 6!

On-Road Impressions, Efficiency & Setup Details
For city school runs and tight UK train station car parks, the 4.31m footprint + CTB Blade Battery floor is spot on. Averaging 4.6 miles/kWh (13.5 kWh/100km) around Birmingham and the physical buttons on the centre console tunnel are super ergonomic.

Hiking Green looks awesome on the Atto 2! Having the physical gear selector and hard buttons on the console is a really nice touch.

@Oliver_A_EV 4.6 miles/kWh around town means a full charge on an overnight EV tariff costs pennies per mile. Congrats on the 2-BYD driveway!

@finlay.martin How does the boot space compare to the Dolphin for weekly supermarket shopping?

@SiennaH_NL Boot is squarer with a wider aperture than the Dolphin (400L with the floor dropped), so bulky strollers and crates slide straight in.

Thanks for sharing the real-world numbers! Dealers rarely explain this clearly during handover, so having verified owner telemetry on the forum saves everyone a lot of guesswork.
