After 11,000 km New-Gen Owner Review with the 2025 BYD Atto 2 (Yuan Up), here is why this compact CTB (Cell-to-Body) SUV hits the sweet spot between the Dolphin and Atto 3:

BYD Atto 2 (Yuan Up) Compact CTB SUV: City Efficiency, Parking & Daily Usability

    Key Owner Impressions:

    • Higher SUV Seating Position + Compact 4,310 mm Length: Easy step-in height with commanding visibility and a tiny 5.25m turning circle.
    • Efficiency: Averaging 12.9 kWh/100km around town and 15.6 kWh/100km on the ring road.
    • Physical Buttons on Centre Console: Traditional clean interior layout with wireless phone charging and 360-degree camera.

@Trevor_E_Blade The traditional door handles and clean interior ergonomics in the Atto 2 made it an instant hit with my parents!

Appreciating physical switchgear and a quiet ride.

@QuietCabin_UK Ground clearance is noticeably higher than the Dolphin, so steep driveway ramps and high kerbs are never a worry.

@CanBusHacker Using Cell-to-Body (CTB) construction in a compact SUV gives it a rock-solid, rattle-free feel over cobblestones.

@Hamish_C_Blade Has anyone else noticed slightly better efficiency after the latest BMS calibration? Mine dropped by ~0.4 kWh/100km.

Can confirm from my own ownership log — keeping tyre pressures at 2.5 bar cold instead of the dealer-delivered 2.2 bar immediately shaved about 0.8 kWh/100km off my highway average.
