BYD Sealion 7 DiSus-C Adaptive Damper Tuning, W-HUD Snow/Rain Contrast Mode & Custom Dynaudio EQ Curve
-
After spending a few weeks dialling in the DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system and the 12-speaker Dynaudio soundstage on the BYD Sealion 7 EV, here are the best settings that transform daily driving:

1. Best Driver Mode Combination for Rough Roads
- DiSus-C Suspension: Set to Comfort for city speed bumps, or Sport on undulating country A-roads (eliminates the secondary rear-axle float over crests).
- Regenerative Braking: Standard rather than High—allows smoother weight transfer mid-corner while the blended brake pedal still recovers up to 140 kW when you press the brake.
2. Dynaudio 12-Speaker Custom Equaliser ("Audiophile Curve")
- Instead of the default "Dynaudio Authentic" flat preset, try Sound Stage: All Passengers, Bass +2, Low-Mid +1, Mid 0, High-Mid +2, Treble +3, with Sub-bass at +3. Tightens up mid-bass punch noticeably.
3. W-HUD Snow & Rain High-Contrast Mode
- In heavy rain or glare, toggle "HUD Snow/High-Contrast Mode" in Display Settings—it switches the projection readout from white to high-visibility amber/cyan!

Just tried that Dynaudio EQ curve (+2/+1/0/+2/+3 with Sub at +3) in my Sealion 7 Design on the drive home—makes a massive difference to vocal clarity and kick drum punch on Apple Music Lossless!

@Sealion7_Marc Also didn't know about the amber/cyan high-contrast toggle for the Heads-Up Display! With polarized sunglasses on bright mornings, the amber HUD colour is 10x easier to read than standard white.

Agree 100% on setting DiSus-C dampers to Sport on undulating British B-roads while keeping steering in Comfort. Stops the rear from bobbing over motorway expansion joints.

@Phil_12VBatteryFix Switching the W-HUD projection to amber high-contrast mode is a lifesaver when wearing polarised sunglasses on bright mornings!

@Sealion7_Claire Dialled in that custom Dynaudio EQ curve this morning and paired it with DiSus-C in Sport mode—the mid-bass clarity and body control over motorway crests are spot on.
