Atto 2 Instrument Cluster Too Bright at Night After V2.3.0 Update
-

I wanted to start a discussion regarding the speedometer display brightness on the Atto 2 after updating to version 2.3.0. Ever since the update, even when setting screen brightness down to 0%, the driver instrument cluster screen remains noticeably brighter at night compared to the central infotainment screen.
On version 2.2.0, both screens dimmed in perfect alignment, which felt much easier on the eyes during night drives. Is anyone else noticing this imbalance after updating, and has anyone found a workaround or official fix from the dealership?

This is definitely an issue with the 2.3.0 update. The auto-brightness curve for the driver display was recalibrated and it's far too bright at night now.

I applied a matte 30% light-reducing screen protector over the cluster glass. It brings the night glare right down to a comfortable level.

Try toggling the main headlights manually from Auto to On and back, or switching the system theme to Dark Mode explicitly. It helped tone it down slightly on my car.

If it really bothers your eyes at night, you can ask your dealer service center to roll back the software to v2.2.0 until a patch is released.

@AmeliaT_ACT Agreed 100%. I tested this on a 320 km highway trip over the weekend and the difference in cabin noise and consumption was night and day.
