Downloading update package… (SeaLion 06 EV)

Looks like my car (Sealion 06 ev) is stuck at downloading update package. The message is there for several days at 0%. It’s the same when using wifi from the mobile phone and the wifi from the house. Is there something I can do or just wait?

I tried that. Resetting and connecting to home wifi. It still shows downloading 0%

Advise actually is to connect to a stable wifi.
Multimedia reset with volume button hold is the best way to kick that off again. -
It's halted at downloading, not installing, I wouldn't do it when installing.

Oh hmmm okay thanks, I didn't know that. I've read that BYD requires it's own SIM card when communicating with things like their app and software updates. For example, my BYD app does not work when my car is connecting to any Wi-Fi, as soon as I disconnect Wi-Fi the app works fine. I only have the car for 4 weeks now so I haven't been able to test OTA yet, but I assumed that would be the same because BYD only allows communication to their systems over their own network.
Have you already tried turning it off and download the update over their SIM card? If so, I would suggest a reboot like another commenter did, it should not affect the download/brick the car. -
I am little bit concerned about restarting the system during download.

@Luke_Morgan Agreed 100%. I tested this on a 320 km highway trip over the weekend and the difference in cabin noise and consumption was night and day.

@Luke_Morgan Checked with our local BYD master tech during my scheduled service yesterday and he confirmed this is the recommended best practice for long-term LFP Blade Battery health.
