BYD Atto 3 40,000 km / 2-Year Service Cost Breakdown (Australia, UK & NZ Dealer Comparison)
-
Just had the big 40,000 km / 24-month service completed on our Atto 3 Extended Range (which includes brake fluid flush + drive motor reduction gear oil replacement). Wanted to compare what service centres are charging and remind everyone you can swap the cabin air filter yourself beforehand!
On-Road Impressions, Efficiency & Setup Details
Overall efficiency, cabin insulation, and LFP Blade Battery thermal stability have been rock-solid across both daily city commuting and 110 km/h highway runs.

Make sure they actually replace the NT-1 reduction gearbox oil at the 40k service — fresh gear oil keeps the helical reduction gears silent for the next 80,000 km.
-
Update from Brisbane: our 2023 Atto 3 is now at 68,000 km on its second set of Michelin Primacy 4s and still feels tight as a drum.
-
Same here in Auckland — best daily commuter car we've ever had in the family.
-
If anyone is on the fence between Standard Range and Extended Range used Atto 3s: both use the exact same LFP Blade chemistry, just 49.9 kWh vs 60.5 kWh!
