Logged a full 10% to 80% DC fast-charging session on my BYD Seal Performance AWD (82.5 kWh) at a 350 kW Kempower CCS2 charger after a 90-minute highway drive (battery temp at 29°C):
On-Road Impressions, Efficiency & Setup Details
- 10% to 35% SOC: Holds 148–154 kW flat.
- 35% to 55% SOC: Holds 118–126 kW.
- 55% to 80% SOC: Holds 85–92 kW.
- Total Time (10% -> 80%): 26 minutes 15 seconds (added 59.8 kWh including thermal losses).

- 35% to 55% SOC: Holds 118–126 kW.
- 55% to 80% SOC: Holds 85–92 kW.
- Total Time (10% -> 80%): 26 minutes 15 seconds (added 59.8 kWh including thermal losses).
Holding 85–92 kW all the way up to 80% SOC is why the 10–80% time is so quick despite a 150 kW peak!
