Finally picked up our Surf Blue BYD Atto 3 Extended Range from the Sydney delivery centre this morning! Handover was super smooth—car arrived with 96% SOC, V2L adapter in the boot, and factory floor mats fitted.
On-Road Impressions, Efficiency & Setup Details
Drove 120 km home down the M1 and averaged 14.4 kWh/100km with the A/C set to 22°C. First thing I did when getting home was drop the dealer transport tyre pressures from 41 PSI down to 36 PSI cold. Couldn't be happier!

Congrats on the Surf Blue Atto 3! Best colour in the sun by far. Good catch checking the tyre pressures straight away—mine was delivered at 42 PSI too.

Great write-up! If anyone is on the fence, definitely take a 45-minute test drive on coarse-chip highway tarmac first — the acoustic glass makes a bigger difference than the spec sheet suggests.

Good catch on those specifications. I checked the service manual torque specs and fuse layout over the weekend and everything matches what you outlined here.

For anyone reading this later: make sure you enable SOC calibration by charging to 100% on AC at least once every two to three weeks so the BMS range estimator stays dead accurate.

My experience has been almost identical over the past 4 months. Zero rattles in the cabin so far, and the 360-degree camera clarity at night is still the best in its price bracket.
