<![CDATA[BYD seal never reaches 150kw charge speed]]>I'm on a road trip between England and Paris. I've used a 200kw Fastned public charger and a Total energies 400kw charger so far.

BYD seal never reaches 150kw charge speed

The Fastned charger peaked at 125kw before reducing right down to 75kw when the battery reached about 75%.

I'm currently at the Total energies 400kw one and the battery is at 50% and it's charging at 115kw.

Why am I not reaching peak charging speed? Is there a setting I need to change in the car menu?

I've been driving my Sealion 7 with potentially 230kw loading peak for about 6 month now and most of the time 300/400kw doesnt give you >200kw.
I mainly use EnBw in Germany its pretty random when i will reach the 230kw that my Car could potentially load.
Also 400kw doesnt mean shit, if the charger can only provide 400 Volt instead of 800 Volt, e.g. Tesla Supercharger appart from the latest generation all have 400 Volt

Ionity is the best from what I've seen I get 150 kw regularly there

My Sealion 7 on Tesla 400v chargers only charges at 115kW instead of the 230kW it can charge at on an 800v charger.
