My initial renewal letter from Hastings for my BYD Seal Excellence AWD in Edinburgh was £1,180. Ran a quote with Admiral exactly 22 days before expiry, added my partner as a named driver (which dropped the premium by another £85!), and locked it in for £642 fully comp including legal cover.
